Elise and her mother go geocaching at an undisclosed, but easily discernible, location in Pontypool: This is an older photo of the still-existing arch at the former swimming baths entrance that Mother Harris speaks about: Click to enlarge; click Back to return.As you can see from Streetview, a bush has taken root in the center of the arch, which can't be good for the longevity of the structure. (I've asked the borough council to remove the bush to preserve it). Here's a description of the Pontnewynydd baths, which were filled in in the '80s. On the other side of this stone wall is where the former baths stood. If you navigate across the river to Mill Road, you will find the row of houses seen in the video at 00:07, specifically where the beige windows change to white windows. There is a small plaque between the upper beige windows, and that nails down the location. BTW, you can read how Pontypool is going to hell in a handbasket in this article.
