Ask me questions. Within reason!

Ahh, why within reason? You can always refuse to answer the really wicked ones (which of course are the ones everybody will want most for you to answer). ---- The question: After going to the trouble and expense of printing up and distributing all those flyers for Fringe, why didn't you go to the almost-no-trouble and zero expense to upload a pix for your official Fringe page? If you uploaded one now, would it show up next year without re-uploading (assuming you're going next year)? As I remember, your flyers didn't have your shining countenance on them either, which would seem to be a shortcoming. Do they charge extra for that, or is artwork merely artwork?

My flyers had my picture on the back! I designed them myself. I charged myself a million pounds, which I still owe myself. Next year's show (if I go - it is in the balance) will be different so the Facebook page will also be different. I was too busy to update it during the Fringe and also had no wifi for a lot of the time. www.facebook.com/Stealth-Welsh-1592960830950751/timeline/eliseharris.com/stealthwelsh/I thought I had this thread on notify me of a response, but I clearly didn't. Sorry about that. Have been doing a lot of real life stuff lately, and not really talking about it on the internet. The internet is a bit of a double-edged sword thingy.

re pix on the back: This would be a waste when posting to a surface unless it was made of glass and the reader knew to look from the other side. Of course you could post two fliers, one reversed, but that is costlier. When you have a photo as darling as the one with the dragon, I think you would be doing yourself a disservice by not putting the pix on the front. Remember, ".sdrow dnasuoht a htrow si erutcip A". (Get it?) Oh, and you stand no chance whatsoever (even in your most generous moods) of collecting the debt; the best you can expect is forgiveness. With regards to the online pix for Fringe, I was referring not to your FB page, but to your page on the Fringe's portion of the British Comedy Guide site, namely, www.comedy.co.uk/fringe/2015/elise_harris/. You could go back and post that dragon pix there if you knew how to. I sent a request to the site asking how this is done, but if you read the conversation so far, you will see I don't have all the facts yet. ---- A new question: Can you post a clear and well-lit picture of Sapphire? The images in the videos are dark, unpleasing and do not elicit purring.

Oh, I didn't even know I had a listing on the British Comedy Guide website. As I was not in the main big Fringe Book (I saved money but not listing it there)I didn't think anyone had listed it.
I don't think I have any pictures of Sapphire. I will ask Marysia K. She might have some I can use.

I thought she was your cat. She's not?

She was the cat we had when I shared a flat with Marysia. Then she went to live with Marysia's mother in Scotland after Marysia moved. I fed her etc and she was the cat of the house, but technically she belonged to Marysia.

Employing my staggering detective skills to parse your answer, I must conclude that Sapphire remained at the flat, because if she was with you now, you could simply take a photo of her. Is it that um, elementary?

I stayed at the flat - Marysia moved to a different flat with Sapphire and then couldn't keep the cat so gave it to her mother in Scotland. As I understand it Sapphire got ill and is no longer with us, unfortunately.

Poor thing. Would you consider getting another cat, or would it be too much of a hassle when you trot off to Edinburgh or Wales?

There is a cat that visits. It recently came to the door all shaved and scabby - think it has been in a fight but the shaved part shows it has an owner (it was unclear). It still expects me to feed it though!

Yes. He does! He is just sitting on the floor now after coming in for some free food!

In my family, when we get tired of anybunny hanging around too long, we just tell them to hop it!

Elise, there are a couple of Admin links on your Fringe page for updating things. You could practice for next year by updating 2015's page, so that once you know you are going, you will know how to do 2016. I wonder when 2016's page will be available? Your page. Obviously, if you are going to send in a pix or some other attachment, you will have to send an E-mail vs. using the Web form. It doesn't look like it would be too hard to impersonate someone if all you need is a legitimate-sounding address. You would think they would require some kind of password. Does Fringe issue an ID number/password of some sort to participants for positive ID? If not, perhaps you could suggest that they do.
