Elise does a reading: Since the last time The Tea House was featured, Vauxhall Walk has been remodeled. The Tea House in 2014: And nearby Vauxhall Walk's South end in 2014: The Tea House & Vauxhall Walk (S end) in 2018: All nearby surfaces have been covered by paving stones that look to be gray. However, Vauxhall's new surface when wetted by the rain in 2016 shows that at least two kinds of pavers were used: Notice that sometime between 2014 and 2018, an outdoor canopy had been installed, deteriorated, and removed from the front of the Tea House. In this picture, a cover had been draped to block rain leaks through the canopy onto arriving and departing customers. Some interesting history for Darley House—the six-story building to the right—may be seen in this blog (On Streetview, you can see that the yellow triangle "Danger of Death" sign on the electrical substation building in the parking lot behind the theater has been moved since the blog's photo was taken. What on earth for?) A block to the West, on the Thames River, is MI6 HQ. Maybe a few spies take the walk over to the Tea House Theater from time to time. On the way, you pass under under six elevated train tracks, below which is actually a long building filled with all types of shops. To the SE, adjacent The Oval cricket stadium and behind the Tesco store, are four oval gas holders, a photo of which appears in the Wikipedia article on gas holders A very interesting neighborhood.
