Elise and Ollie walk to their polling station amongst the chaos that is the Borough of Barnet and its accidentally-disenfranchised citizenry: The polling place is St. Paul's Church, at the corner of Long Lane and Dukes Avenue (which is shown here a bit more tidy without all the election-day folderol taped up in the windows): Click to enlarge; click Back to return. It looks like the entire length fronting Dukes Avenue is a modern addition to the original church. The church seems to be the only building oriented between NE and E (marked Circle 2, below). All the other buildings in the area and their streets are oriented differently (marked Circle 1): Click to enlarge; click Back to return. It would probably cost too much to wrench the building back into alignment with the rest of the neighborhood at this late date. Or you can explore the area on StreetView. Doing so, I found that the unpretentious three-story brick building immediately to the right (NW of the church) at 50 Long Lane is the North London Iranian Church. There are no signs or other markings on the building, so I guess they are keeping a low profile.
